Okay, okay, you’re probably wondering about the real stars of the show by now. The handsome mix on the right? That’s Yoshi. The equally charming corgi on the left? Meeko. And yes, they’re both very good boys… except on Mondays.
Nothing good ever happens on Mondays.

As for me, I’m Larry Phiravanh, a 3D designer born and raised in Minnesota, making my way through life, snow, and the occasional Vikings season.

I started out working in virtual and augmented reality, which eventually led me deeper into 3D design, CGI, and product visualization. These days, most of my work sits somewhere between design and production: taking ideas, CAD, or early concepts and developing them into finished visuals through modeling, materials, lighting, rendering, motion, and real-time 3D.

I’m also interested in how newer tools can improve the way artists work without replacing the judgment, craft, and point of view that make the work worth looking at in the first place.

I like projects that require a mix of technical problem-solving and visual polish, especially when there’s something new to figure out along the way. And if it all has to come together under a tight deadline? That’s usually just another Tuesday.

Or worse, Monday.
